Literally my FAVORITE place downtown! It’s my special treat each week to go down and get lunch there. The food is AMAZING….mind blowing….addictive. I have moments thinking “I wonder how Nora would make this?” They stepped in last minute for an emergency catering problem for us in August and saved the day, knocked it out of the park and kind of made the party.

Mountain Mikes Pizza is really good! I just had a mini pepperoni from there a few days ago and it was delicious! They pepperoni was cooked to that perfect crunchiness, and the crust was amazing! They are located on Barnett across the road from RVMC, right next to Shoji’s.

Misoya was a breath of fresh air when they opened in 2011….. Great sushi with innovative and fresh ideas for little Medford. However as they became more and more popular with the locals with the allure of good and fresh real sushi their service was trailing far behind. We usually spend 70 bucks just on sushi and sake for just the two of us each time we go which was every week through the summer of 2011, and celebrated the passing of 2011 with dinner New Years Eve….. With that said, the service really makes a bad taste in your mouth, When there is only 1 server for all the tables and clients that are really looking forward to a great night of Japanese cuisine….. they fail miserably!….. It’s so simple….. Misoya, take care of your clients who make your paycheck. We wont be back because the service is so so so bad!!!!

I think this is the best Italian restaurant in Medford, OR. The food was excellent and the service was excellent.

I think their meats are very good but the side dishes are too limited. And the salad tastes like it came from a bag.

I like the idea of having a brand new shopping area. The Medford Center is too old and parking stinks. Downtown is a joke!! Hopefully this location will inspire other businesses to locate in our area. We are in dire need of some new business here. I would love to encourage any new shopping or eating establishments to revitalize our economy. I do like the idea of turning Northgate into something similiar to the Old Mill District in Bend, OR.

My cousin and I are moving to Ashland in two weeks, having lived all of our adult lives in Southern California (currently in Ojai, CA). Recently we panicked at the thought of moving to an area sans a Trader Joes. I have been very familiar w/ TJ’s since my early 20′s when i lived in South Pasadena, CA. and shopped often at the “Mother Store.” I would frequently send care packages to my parents whom lived in Seattle, prior to a TJ’s opening there. As such, you can just imagine our delight when, while staying recently at the Ashland Springs hotel, we learned that Trader Joes has broken ground in Medford. In the meantime, we have stocked up w/ our favorite wines and other items exclusively purchased through TJ’s. I have some favorite recipes made with Trader Joe product. Yeah!

Kaleidoscope pizza! They have many yummy choices, you feel at home, they are friendly, the crust is delicious! The selection is very different and good! The pizza actually tastes like it’s cooked in a stone oven =) I live out of town so I go every so often, the taste is still the same as it always has been
