WFC
Women’s Fitness Company- The Premier Women’s Only Health Club

Attention women!   The summer is fast approaching and if you have been holding out for great weather to start your workout, then let this be the day to start!  Do you live in the Rogue Valley and need an amazing gym to get your groove on?  WFC, Women’s Fitness Company, is the premier women’s health club for you!

Do you want to spend more time working out and less time getting ready to go workout?  What I mean is, at WFC you don’t need to spend time “getting ready to go workout at the gym,” you just show up as you are!  Whatever your look (in or out of shape), make-up or didn’t have time to apply, or if your workout outfit isn’t “on trend”, WFC doesn’t care, nor do the other women!  How would you like to feel empowered around other empowering women wanting to get more out of their workout than just looking and feeling great?  Or, do you crave “alone time” to dedicate to “yours truly”  to be a more balanced woman, wife, mother, grandma, co-worker, etc…?

The WFC caters to women ONLY, and it’s a gym dedicated to bettering the life of each woman who comes through the door!  As a livelong “gym rat” myself, I have belonged to numerous gyms over the many years, and I have to say, my experience at WFC has been fantastic!

I love their “try before you sign-up” promotion they’re offering right now,14 day free trial  so, I decided to take advantage of the offer and see what this gym has to offer a “gym -rat”  like myself or, a novice gym goer who might be intimidated to step foot in a gym.  I embarked on a “group fitness class” to see how comfortable I’d feel in a group setting and well… SUCCESS!  I took the Group Power Class which was an “hour of power” using various weights, barbells, and motivating music to strengthen all muscle groups!  There were women around me with different body types, ages, as well as, fitness levels (beginners to experienced fitness lifters), and a motivating, experienced, and fun instructor!  The hour flew by and boy did I get a great workout in; lots of sweating involved which meant calories were burnt!  I also had just under an hour of “yours truly” time, so I went to the gym on a Saturday, hopped on the elliptical for 20 minutes, did the dreaded sit-ups (not my favorite area to work on), used the free weights and finished up with some relaxing stretches.  Then, as I walked past the front counter, the front desk assistant remembered my name (and I don’t have a common name), and wished me a great weekend! Yes, yes, and yes, you can bet I will be signing up!  Great customer service, great classes, and great facility!

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY?

  1. Jacqui Larson says:

It is extremely difficult to cancel a membership here (even one that has fulfilled the full term), so just be aware that if you join, you may be joining for much more than the stated 18-month contract.

There is no direct link from the gym website to their billing company. You have to contact the folks at the gym directly, then be given a phone number for the billing company, then fill out paperwork explaining why you are cancelling your membership.

This may be the case for other gyms as well. My advice is to go with a no-contract gym and pay monthly or by the visit.
