Beckie’s Cafe in Union Creek is a must stop! Whether you are driving up to visit Crater Lake, driving on through to go to Bend, or you want a great overnight or day stay in Union Creek, you must stop at Beckie’s Cafe located in the quaint little town of Union Creek,OR.

Beckie’s Cafe is a historic and rustic cafe, famous for their “Homestyle traditional cooking,” and their seasonal “Huckleberry Pie.” The first time we stopped in, we had been sledding all morning at Union Creek and wanted to taste their famous, huckleberry pie before heading back into Medford. It was the perfect afternoon delight -along with their wood burning stove to warm our bodies back up! The restaurant is cozy and quaint, and something you’d expect up in the woods!

Do you have an appetite bigger than a piece of pie? You must stop there for a great “homestyle” breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Try their steak and eggs for breakfast, or load up on pancakes, before heading out for a day of fishing or hiking. Come back for lunch or dinner to try any one of their steaks, or burgers, and my personal favorite, their hearty beef stew. Their blue cheese burger or the mushroom and onion burger are also my favorites, and you can’t forget the hot french fries! Please save room for dessert, and order up the huckleberry pie (seasonal), you won’t be disappointed.

Tip: The huckleberry’s are picked fresh off the mountain, so their pies are for a limited time only: usually available from Labor Day through December.
