Pear Blossom Festival & Run

One of Medford’s greatest festivals is coming Saturday, April 9th. Whatever your pace, whether it is strapping on your running shoes for Pear Blossom Run or sitting back to enjoy a barbecue and parade, this celebration will have something to excite everyone.

Join the Rogue Valley’s #1 athletic event on Saturday, April 9th! Choose between:

• Saturday
  7:00 a.m. – RVMC Heart & Sole 5 km (3.1 miles) – Runners & Walkers – Start – Medford City Hall
  7:30 a.m. – Mayor’s Awards – Justice Building
  7:50 a.m. – Mayor’s Mile – Justice Building
  8:00 a.m. – Scholarships Awarded – Medford City Hall
  8:15 a.m. – Wheelchair Start – Medford City Hall
  8:20 a.m. – 10 Mile Start (Runners & Walkers) – Medford City Hall
  8:25 a.m. -  2-mile – Justice Building
  11:00 a.m. -  Parade Starts – 11:30 reaches Oakdale
  11:15 a.m. – 10 mile course closes
  12:00            Barbecue – South Fred Meyer – Exit 27
  Proceeds to American Cancer Society – Fee: $1.50 per person. 1800 tickets in packets
  All Day   -  Pear A Fare & Street Fair – Downtown Medford Main Street (This is a change of location)

Join in with people from all over the West Coast and participate in this yearly event. But remember, there is NO race day registration, so be sure to register early!

Local entrants are asked to pick-up packets on Friday
* Friday – April 8 – 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
* Saturday -April 9  6:20 a.m.
* Bring yellow post card as ID – mailed week prior to race date (Hint: register before this).  This will expedite packet-pick-up.
If picking up another person’s packet, bring their yellow post card.  Packets & Shirts will not be mailed.. Registration closes April 4th. Important phone numbers, runner’s schedule and race maps can be found at PearBlossomRun.com
