9th Annual Ashland Independent Film Festival
The Ashland Independent Film Festival is one of the annual marquee events in Ashland. Featuring 80 independent films over 5 days, the 9th Annual Festival is scheduled for April 8-12, 2010.
More than 6,000 film enthusiasts from around the world will gather in Ashland this Spring to watch independent documentaries, shorts and full feature films at the historic Varsity Theatre in downtown Ashland.
The complete schedule for the Ashland Independent Film Festival will be announced by March 9, tickets go on sale March 16.

Some more info: it’s 81 films this year, incredibly. There are free TALKbacks with filmmakers on the mornings of FRI, SAT, SUN– order tickets online. The fine art of tattoo artist Ed Hardy (subject of an AIFF documentary) will be showcased at Bohemia Gallery, and they will host an open reception for the artist 6-8pm 4/10. Tickets are available online for the Opening Night Bash and Awards Celebration, or you can come mingle AFTERhours at the Black Sheep every night through 1am.
