Wednesday Evening Market in Talent

Every Wednesday through Summer, 2010: from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm in Talent, Oregon

The Talent Evening Market is one of those seasonal treasures that appear briefly during the summer months. The Market is happening every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30 pm in front of City Hall in downtown Talent.

You can find fresh produce (perfect if you can’t make it to the Growers Market’s during the week!) prepared food (+ shady spots to enjoy a picnic dinner) live music, Artik Creamery Ice Cream (!), children’s’ activities (including juggling, face-painters and crafts) and many craft vendors.

One of the coolest booths is EarthAngelic – a hip, fun, earth friendly, eco-chic boutique featuring one of a kind “up-cycled” handmade items and original designs. Jenni Dillon of Talent has made her participation in the Market a family affair – with an inspiring fresh look at sustainable, beautiful children’s clothes, accessories and stuffed toys + much more!

A few of Jenni’s fabulous creations include Lovey Bears – teddy bears handmade from recycled cashmere sweaters and stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing. The simple style of her aprons for girls is divine… each handmade apron incorporates vintage embroidery, lace and linen.

Stop by the booth and you’ll also find creations from Lisa. Lisa creates her own playful items including purses made from wool, silk, satin & wood. The newest item at the booth July 14 will be (adorable!) little girls linen capri pants with ruffles and vintage party dresses!
