Jacksonville Mercantile

The Jacksonville Mercantile is a food lover’s paradise. A gourmet market where you can find gourmet food like unique extracts (vanilla and beyond!) olive oils, vinegars, specialty salts, colorful pasta and hundreds of gourmet and specialty food products (and gifts)

The Warehouse Building that houses the Jacksonville Mercantile was built in 1861. The building has been host to many businesses over the years like the local grocer, newspaper, bookstore and museum – now host to a culinary landmark in the Rogue Valley!

We spent a sunny afternoon exploring our way through Jacksonville and happily landed at the Mercantile. I fell in love with many unique products I found in the shop – like this tea set

and this rainbow pasta – made with wheat flour & vegetables, the colors become more vibrant when cooked (imagine this as the star in a pasta salad!)

Constance and David have created a destination market. A stop into this gourmet shop to pick up your favorites specialties – special dips, salts, oils and treats – is a must for all Rogue Valley residents. If you don’t live nearby or have recently visited Jacksonville and fell in love with the Mercantile’s gourmet specialties you can now shop online!
