Luigi's Garbage Grinder

Quick! How many words can you come up with for subway sandwich? Sub, hoagie, Italian sandwich, po’ boy, torpedo, hero, grinder… oh, the grinder.

Luigi’s is a fabulous little sandwich shop in Medford, across from the Rogue Valley Mall. Luigi’s may be small, but not in heart, sandwich size or taste. The grinders are no joke.

With enough choices to keep your daily appetite busy for a few months, a few of our favorites include the garbage grinder and any other toasted grinder sub, complete with crisp veggie toppings.

Choose anything from pizza to toasty sandwiches, simple subs to complex grinders – but you’ll want to choose something!  Luigi’s is easy to get to: Find the little shop at 1619 N Riverside Ave in
Medford. Dine in (few tables plus the seats are upside down metal garbage cans = bonus!) or take-out

Our family lived in Medford for 28 years and most of us have moved away now but we all still love Luigi’s. Just had a family reunion there this summer and we all went to Luigi’s and loved it. What is on the Garbage grinder I would love the ingredients listed. Thank you. mom giles
